Effective rope threading systems rely upon correct rope tension.  Too much rope tension contributes to equipment failure, reduced carrier rope life and increased bearing friction.  Too little rope tension causes tail slippage, lost tails and repeated thread ups.  Both cause valuable tonnage loss.

Both are standard features in the WST200 but are not available on competitive makes of stretchers.

In combination with our WCN615 High/Low Control, WST200 Rope Stretchers provide the ability to automatically insure correct rope tension for both threading (High) and running (Low) operations.  This is the foundation for optimum threading system performance.
