Recommended for WST200 Rope Stretchers.  NEMA standard enclosure.  Our latest electronic design pre-sets correct Threading (High) and Operating (Low) pressures.  Sheet break detector signals control solenoid to increase tension to High at sheet break, then automatically reduces tension to Low when sheet is stabilized.  Plus, at rope replacement or routine maintenance, control permits slide carriage adjustment to most accessible working position.

Effective rope threading systems must have correct rope tension.  Too much rope tension contributes to equipment failure, reduced carrier rope life and increased starting friction.  Too little rope tension causes tail slippage, lost tails and repeated thread ups.  Both conditions result in valuable tonnage loss.

It often necessary to alter the direction of the carrier ropes as they enter or exit rope stretchers.  Stretcher locations often lack suitable mounting positions necessary for these sheaves.  DSAs, (Directional Sheave Assemblies), which include our rugged PJ series cast iron rope sheaves and mounting hardware, can mount easily on pre-drilled mounting holes in each end of the rope stretcher frame.  Specify DSA option to simplify stretcher installation.

Ideal protection for your rope stretcher.  Rope stretchers mounted beneath the machine, where broke normally falls, benefit from "Turtle Back" guards, to insure that the critical slide carriage is free of restriction and can transmit the proper rope tension to your treading system.  WESPATT offers a complete line of rugged "Turtle Back" steel broke guards for your consideration.  Choices include 1)lift/off and 2)hinged; in either solid steel or expanded metal.  Our "Turtle Back" design facilitates broke removal.
