WESPATT Dryer Groove Filler Rings -
Dryer Groove Filler Rings minimize the difference in dryer surface speed and rope speed. Tail wandering results from an excessive difference in dryer surface speed and rope speed. The rope speed is slower than sheet speed. Therefore, the threading rope speed becomes too slow for sheet speed, thus, a wandering or drifting tail results. This often tears the tail, causes re-threading and lost production.
